| Mike’s One Man Band has donated more that over 3,000 free kid’s meals, $1,500 in gift certificates and more than $3,600 in cash to local elementary schools, Spanish Fork Fire Department, BACA, PTA, Spanish Fork City, group homes, The United Way, The American Heart Association, Shriner's Burn Center and other organizations/charities in the last two years. We have proudly sponsored school walk-a-thon’s, science fairs, the Spanish Fork Chamber of Commerce Easter Egg Hunt, Sub for Santa programs, Fiesta Days Events and many other good causes. The Shawn Shepherd Benefit Fund: Shawn is from Spanish Fork, and had been diagnosed with cancer. In an effort to help Shawn’s family with the overwhelming costs of treatment, the employees of Mike’s One Man Band held a fund raiser. With the help of local newspapers, and in-store advertising, word of mouth, an email campaign and Santa Claus in our restaurant, this fund raiser was a great success. The employees and customers donated generously, all tips for the day were donated to help Shawn. Mike’s One Man Band matched the donations of our customers and the employees. Mike’s One Man Band, the employees and Winger’s Restaurant also donated gifts to help Shawn and his family at Christmas time. Shawn’s treatment was effective, and with the help of the community Shawn is doing well. Mike's One Man Band is a sponsor of the 2009 UVU Rodeo Team Mike's One Man Band has also supported the Spanish Fork Fire Department in their fund raisers and other events. Mike’s One Man Band is also a supporter of the Utah Defensive Pistol League, and the Fiesta Days Skeet Tournament at the Spanish Fork Gun Club. On Halloween, Fiesta Days and the Light Parade, Mike’s One Man Band and AM/PM Keys have worked together to bring treats, refreshments, coupons, a haunted house, BACA displays, and other fun to the children of Spanish Fork during these events at no cost. We’ve had a great turn out to each of these events with lots of fun for the kids!
